Buyer FAQ

Importing IQF frozen produce from Egypt

New to sourcing IQF frozen fruit? Our sourcing guide covers what to specify, how to vet a supplier and what “quick frozen” commits them to before you place a first order.

How do I import IQF frozen strawberries from Egypt?
Send us your spec — product, grade, volume, destination port and Incoterm. We reply with samples, certificates and a quote, usually within 24-48 hours, then ship under an unbroken cold-chain with phytosanitary, health and origin documents issued fast.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for frozen produce?
We offer flexible MOQs so you can start small and scale as trust builds. Orders are typically by full 40ft container in 10 kg cartons or to your spec. Tell us your volume and port and we'll confirm the MOQ.
Are your IQF frozen strawberries BRC and GlobalGAP certified?
Yes — Good Seed is BRC, ISO and GlobalGAP certified, with lot-level traceability and residue (MRL) screening. Certificate copies are provided with every shipment and on request.
Do you ship FOB or CIF, and to which markets?
Both FOB and CIF, at competitive pricing. Europe is our lead market, and we also serve the Gulf, Africa, Asia and the Americas.
What is IQF (individually quick-frozen)?
IQF flash-freezes each piece of fruit or vegetable separately at peak ripeness. This locks in colour, flavour and nutrition and keeps the product free-flowing and spec-consistent year round, stored at -18°C with a 12-month shelf life.
